There’s no time like springtime to dust off your clubs and head to “The Western Home of Golf in America™” for a bucket-list golf getaway. Golfing at PGA WEST® is an epic experience year-round, but at its peak for the next few months. Picture longer days of endless sunshine, daytime temps hovering in the 80s, lush fairways, snow-capped mountains, and plenty of après golf socializing swapping stories while enjoying beverages and bar bites.

PGA WEST is calling, and we’ve rounded up four reasons why you and your friends are guaranteed to have the golf vacation of a lifetime.

Because You Can Tee Off on Multiple Championship Courses During One Stay

PGA WEST has an unmatchable legacy—everyone from pros to presidents, amateurs to beginners has played these iconic championship courses, two of which play host annually to The American Express™ golf tournament and concert series. PGA WEST boasts nine championship golf courses, five of which are public access resort courses designed by golf greats Pete Dye, Jack Nicklaus, and Greg Norman. All courses have already had or will undergo magnificent restorations.  This year, from May 1 through fall 2024, Pete Dye protégé Tim Liddy is helming a stellar renovation 0f the PGA WEST® Pete Dye Stadium Course to bring Dye’s original vision back to life.  Don't miss your chance to play the iconic course before and after its restoration. Play a round on Dye’s Mountain Course with its fantastic views, rock formations and rolling terrain. Tee up on the Scottish style links with a twist on Dye’s Dunes Course. Mobilize your best skills for long hitters and short games on the Nicklaus Tournament Course, a masterpiece featuring two island greens, cavernous bunkers, and tiered fairways. Play the Greg Norman Course, his only design in the Greater Palm Springs region and inspired by the Outback environment of Norman’s native Australia.

Because You Can’t Beat the Luxe Accommodations, Live Concerts and Cool Attractions

April marks “music festival month” in Greater Palm Springs with the annual return of the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival and Stagecoach, California’s Country Music Festival. You can’t golf 24/7—as much as you’d like to—so why not take in a round late morning before you head to the concerts in nearby Indio? Even if you haven’t been able to snag a Coachella and Stagecoach pass, the desert is buzzing with live music and entertainment. If you’re up for a last-minute getaway, you can still catch the BNP Paribas Open, and exciting polo matches on Sundays (through March 24) at Eldorado Polo Club. Other top activities and attractions include the BMW Performance Center West, AHL Hockey and live concerts featuring major headliners at Acrisure Arena, Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, The Living Desert Zoo & Gardens, Joshua Tree National Park and much more
