A dedicated PGA Golf Professional for nearly three decades, Joe holds PGA Master Professional Status through Teaching & Coaching, the highest educational designation a PGA of America Member can obtain.
Joe consistently ranks in GOLF magazine’s “Top 100 Teachers in America” and Golf Digest’s “Best Teachers in Every State.” Joe has coached some of the top LPGA players in the world, including seven-time major champion Inbee Park, and two-time Rolex World No. 1 and 2023 US Solheim Cup Captain Stacy Lewis. He has also coached World Golf Hall of Famer Juli Inkster, who has more wins in Solheim Cup matches that any other American player.
Joe believes that every player has a natural and instinctive way to hit a golf shot. These differ for each player and the key is to use what comes naturally as the basis for a better swing and more solid shots.
"We don't have to match all the latest trends and swing positions; instead, we figure out how each golfer can get closer to their own intuitive approach," Joe says.
Joe’s impact goes far beyond golf instruction. He is an innovator and widely respected for his deep expertise in PGA member education, advanced teaching technology, and contributions to the broader golf industry.
Joe divides his time between PGA WEST and Vanderbilt Legends Club in Tennessee where he is Director of Instruction.
