Winemaker's Dinner

Event Date: Friday, January 17, 2014
Event Category / Group: Dining / Social & Dining

Iron Horse Winemaker's Dinner
Join Morgan's in the desert Executive Chef Jimmy Schmidt for an interactive winemaker's dinner pairing featured wines from Iron Horse Winery at 6 p.m. on Friday, January 17. At each wine dinner, we encourage visiting winemakers to share their history with our guests, and explain how their particular role helped to shape the California wine industry as we know it today. Our guests enjoy learning the history of the California wine industry, while feasting on dishes Chef Schmidt specifically designed for these wines.
On this occasion we will be joined by Jennifer Hallock O'Brien from Iron Horse Vineyards. One of Sonoma County's most beautiful small, family-owned wineries, Iron Horse is located in the cool, foggy Green Valley, which is perfect for growing Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. When it comes to Sparkling Wines, Iron Horse stands at the top. Their wines have been served at the White House for the past five consecutive presidential administrations.
