Inside the Living Desert you will find a walking path that has a variety of plants and of course animals. This path will lead you to the bottom of the Eisenhower Peek trail. Named for the president due to the 1952 elevation which corresponds perfectly with his election year! Although we will only be hiking the first 700 foot incline, the hike is a bit tough at first. It eases up as it levels off and lifts the hiker to a magnificent of the Living Desert as well as the Palm Desert city.
