Reverie Wine Dinner

Event Date: Thursday, February 13, 2014
Event Category:

Reverie Wine Dinner
Reverie Winery, located near Calistoga, Calif., is one of Napa Valley’s smallest estate wineries. Nestled on a steep, 40 acre parcel high up in the Diamond Mountain appellation, it is divided into three vineyards – Reverie, Diamond Creek and Von Strasser.
Norman Kiken, a New Jersey guy, is the owner and winemaker. He purchased the property in 1993 and specializes in producing ultra-premium Bordeaux style varietal blends that reflect the uniqueness of the terroir. He garnished acclaim for his incredible Cabernet Sauvignon but equally esteemed Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Malbec, Barbera and Tempranillo — all still quite rare in the Napa Valley. All of Norm's wines are among Chef Jimmy Schmidt's personal favorites and are only available directly through the winery or through a special arrangement for Morgan's in the desert. Don't miss the tour of these exceptional wines with the master who brought them to fruition, Norm Kiken.
