Long Meadow Ranch Wine Dinner
Morgan's in the desert Executive Chef Jimmy Schmidt is pleased to invite you to our next interactive Winemaker's Dinner, pairing featured wines from Long Meadow Ranch at 6 p.m. tomorrow night, January 31. As our guests feast on dishes specifically designed by Chef Schmidt to complement the evening's wine, we offer visiting winemakers the opportunity to share their history with our guests, and explain how their particular role helped to shape the California wine industry as we know it today.
On this occasion we will be joined by Chris Hall from Napa's Long Meadow Ranch. This family-owned vineyard produces extraordinary Sauvingon Blanc, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes in 74 acres of vineyard, with a vision of creating world-class wines that truly complement a meal using sustainable, organic farming methods. Long Meadow Ranch is committed to the highest quality, and organic farming has allowed them to achieve extraordinary results in their iconic wines.

What’s New at Morgan’s
As we lead up to Valentine's Day, our Blood Orange Festival Menu will get you in the mood. Blood Oranges are believed to have aphrodisiac properties that evoke strong emotion. Their distinctive dark red color stems from the presence of anthocyanins, a family of antioxidant pigments common to many flowers and fruit, but uncommon in citrus fruits. The Blood Orange flavor profile hints at raspberry, in addition to the expected citrus notes. Experience it for yourself from February 2 - 13 at Morgan's.
