The Couple’s Club Championship is a tremendous event that allows you to compete against other couple’s in the club for your chance to become the Couple’s Champions! The Chapman format requires participation from both partners on every hole. You start by selecting the best drive of the two then you swap and hit each other’s shot. This is where the patience and marriage counseling comes into play. Make sure you give your spouse or significant other a good shot into the green! After the couple swaps each other’s drive you alternate shots until the ball is holed.

Sounds like fun doesn’t it? It’s truly a fun experience and the competition is fierce. When your names are announced as champions you will know it was well deserved.

Eligibility: Entries are open to all amateur golfers who are Premier Golf or Sport Members in good standing at PGA WEST A handicap Index must be issued for all players from a “Golf Club” as defined in the USGA Handicap System manual.
Couple’s must be on same Membership to compete.
All PGA WEST Members must have an established GHIN through PGA WEST.

Format:
• 18 – Hole Chapman; 60% of the high and 40% of the low Handicap.
• Flights determined by combined team index
Flights and Tees: Men- Modified Blue; Women- Modified Gold/Red
Handicaps- Player’s low handicap index of previous 3-months.
