Focus on Wine at Morgan's
Ampelos is Chef Jimmy Schmidt's favorite vineyard in the Santa Rita Hills area. As the vineyards have grown and matured, each sequential vintage continues to artistically intensify. Ampelos employs a low-intervention winemaking process, which means no added yeast, no artificial tannins, no artificial malolactic bacteria, and no added color. Every sip evokes cool ocean breezes and sunny afternoons wandering in the beauty of the rolling Santa Rita Hills.
