Welcome Executive Director of Golf
Rich Hohman
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Rich Hohman to the position of Executive Director of Golf for PGA WEST & The Citrus Club, effective December 1, 2015.
Rich is one of the most experienced Golf Course Executives and Operators in America, with over 25 years of overseeing all sectors of the golf and club industries. His resume includes Senior Executive responsibility for more than 150 public, private and resort facilities throughout the United States and the Caribbean. He also has been instrumental in the development and management of several high-end golf course communities and luxury golf resorts.
Prior to joining the PGA WEST & Citrus Club families he served as President of Kitson & Partners Golf Division, was involved with Mauna Kea Resort on the Big Island of Hawaii, Turnberry Isle Resort in Miami and PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. He was involved in planning, constructing and operating several impressive golf developments with The Ginn Company in Florida. Earlier in his career Rich spent ten years in golf operations management with the American Golf Corporation where he advanced to the position of Senior Vice President of Operations, with total P&L responsibility for 95 golf facilities in the Eastern U.S.
In his earliest part of his career, Rich held various management positions in the restaurant and hotel fields. Rich is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
Rich and his wife Teresa have two daughters, Kelsey and Alison who are finishing up their graduate degrees in Florida. The empty nesters will be relocating to the La Quinta area from South Florida later this month.
