Trackman Golf Simulators
Experience Game-Changing TrackMan Radar Technology at PGA WEST®
The 65th edition of The American Express™ golf tournament is in the books and what a tournament it was with several of the top players in the world playing under sunny blue skies with temperatures hovering in the 60’s. During Sunday’s final round on the famed PGA WEST® Pete Dye Stadium Course, Nick Dunlap, a 20-year-old University of Alabama student achieved the remarkable feat of becoming the first amateur golfer to win a PGA TOUR event since Phil Mickelson in 1991.
Golfers and spectators alike were among the first to experience phenomenal new enhancements and amenities on and off the course, including the highly anticipated Trackman radar technology. PGA WEST now has seven radars installed, the largest TrackMan installation in North America, with four behind the range and three out in the field.
TrackMan radar tracks a ball from impact to landing. Using the TrackMan app, you’ll be able to track your shot with accuracy; the amazing app keeps a history of your data to see how far you’ve hit your shots, how you’re progressing, and what needs work. Right now, the technology is in operation on the driving range and at PGA WEST® Pete Dye Stadium Course, PGA WEST® Nicklaus Tournament Course, and Member-only PGA WEST® Nicklaus Private Course.
PGA WEST also leveled up the fun factor at the recently renovated Pete Dye Clubhouse and The Bunker Bar. Open to the public, the welcoming bar and lounge features two cutting-edge Trackman 4 simulators ideal for practice, training, nonstop fun, and playing some of the best golf courses in the world, including three PGA WEST resort courses.
The Pete Dye Clubhouse is located at 50-200 Avenida Vista Bonita in La Quinta adjacent to La Quinta Resort. Call 760.564.7610 for more information and to reserve a Trackman bay.
